Customer Service: 1 Quality Of Work: 2 Friendliness: 1 Pricing: 4 Overall Experience: 1

Bought a used 2011 Sonata from Kolar Hyundai, price seemed right and salesman was helpful and nice. Requested to do financing through my local credit union, they said no problem they can do that. When the loan documents were ready to be signed, they had the loan set up through a large nationwide loan company. I asked why, he said that he was able to get me a better rate through them. Bought the car, then the next morning, just for kicks, I called my local credit union to see what their rates were, and lo and behold, they were 1.5% lower! they had no record of being contacted by Kolar the previous day. I went back to Kolar to confront him about it, and he laughed and told me he figured I should go with the big nationwide company because that would help my credit score. I told him to refund me the difference in interest charges over the life of the 6 yr loan and he laughed. About 2 days later I heard noise coming from the exhaust and went to the other Kolar building (the one that services the Hyundai's) and was told "If it gets worse, stop back, but its not too bad yet". I called and asked to speak to the general manager about my issues, when he finally called me back 3 days later I explained to him the issue with the loan and the exhaust and he replied with a chuckle and said "you signed the papers, not my problem" Needless to say, "The Kolar Experience" (as their tagline reads) is one experience you want to avoid!
