If a side curtain air bag does not inflate as intended in the event of a crash, there is an increased risk of injury to the front seat occupants.

BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling certain model year 2016-2017 MINI Clubman vehicles manufactured August 19, 2015, through July 14, 2016. The side curtain air bags for the front seat occupants may deploy in the intended positions in the event of a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 226, "Ejection Mitigation."

Two boys, a dog, camera equipment, luggage, skis, surfboards, skateboards, lacrosse sticks, football gear, etc... How does the car do handling all of those things? The answer is... AMAZING! After having a 2014 Audi Allroad, we decided that we loved the wagon body style. It's completely fits our lifestyle. We have two boys, 13 & 15. They play about every sport imaginable and we needed a vehicle that could hold up to holding all of the gear. Have a roof rack for skis? Check. Have a massive trunk for football gear, lacrosse gear, dogs, and suitcases? Check. A super swaggy vehicle to drive at the age of 36? Check. Our Clubman is the best vehicle we have owned to date and will definitely be purchasing another one for my wife. I previously drove an Audi Allroad, and although it was a super luxurious vehicle... It wasn't that fun to drive. And with the Clubman? I feel on top of the world.
