We leased a Ford Fusion and were told that the Hybrid Energy model would allow you to reduce your monthly electric bill by 20 to 30%. We found out that this was false after we signed the lease. We were also told that the electric stations were all free for recharging. We felt deceived and are now leasing a very expensive car that does not have the benefits we thought it would have.We understand that the salesperson (who was very nice) wasn't trained properly, but this doesn't change the fact that we are now on the hook for a higher payment then we bargained for. What made the situation so much worse is the way we were treated after complaining. We spent an entire morning with multiple offers to make a new purchase. Rather than bring us the best possible deal, we were nickel and dimed with multiple offers. We told the finance person that we would be happy if the dealership would simply pay for our registration. This was refused in no uncertain terms. When we finally grew tired of the process and decided to leave, we were followed out and told the dealership would pay for half of our registration, and that the salesperson would pay for the other half... and only because we insisted on it. The insinuation was that we were taking money out of his pocket. We were told that "this is the way they work". I've broken a few things were I work, and no one's ever had their hand out asking to be reimbursed. What blew us away was the fact that they were so arrogant after we were deceived into the purchase. We will be here another 30 to 35 years, and we are both lifelong Ford owners. We will never darker their doors again for maintenance, new car purchases, or ever recommend them to anyone.Simply amazing how short-sighted a business can be. It would have been quite easy to make us happy, and they chose to make what was a difficult situation much much worse.Avoid this place like the plague!
