Where do i start with my horrific experience that occurred at Rick Case Fort Lauderdale location. ON 10-18-16 i schedule a service call online for 12:15pm but instead i arrived at 11:30am. A guy approached my car not once with our interaction did he stated his name. I explained to him my reason for the service (an oil change along with the paint fading in the holder were i placed my phone). His response was its a scratch and that will not be covered, i inquired how can that be a scratch if my phone is protected and no object is placed in that area, he stated Okay i will look into it. As he did my paperwork with me asking all the questions he was in a rush to get me out the office so he can engage into the conversation that he was having with his coworkers instead of telling me what i needed to do. I explained to him that when i booked my appointment online i arranged for a shuttle ride home. I was then told the car is outside, i was a bit taken back but as instructed i walked outside in the sun but to my surprise there was no one outside but an empty car. i then walked back to him after 2 minutes while he was again deep into his conversation i excused myself in which again i was told just walk around outside, you will find him. i walked back outside and again no one was there, on my way back inside the dealership i was greeted by multiple sales personals where i given the same exact answer. At this point i am now getting upset because of the way that i am getting treated however; i kept on walking as i was approached by a friendly face. My sales person that remembered me from a year ago( bought 2015 Genesis, 2015 Sonata and recommended two people to the dealership). As we spoke i asked who was the service advisor because he still have not given me his name (Stefano) 10 minutes of waiting the driver then shows up stating (no one called him about someone waiting).After two and a half hours i received a phone call from the advisor (Stefano) that my car is ready, i specifically asked was the paint fixed no its wear and tear i was like how can it be wear and tear, i have had the car for 1 year and two months with 12450 miles. The paint should not be fading, this is not my first car that Ive purchased. i then asked about the driver picking me up to take me to the dealership in which i was given a wrong number. I called the number that appeared on my caller ID 5 times and all 5 times i was sent to voicemail. After calling the main service number i was then given the correct number, i called from 2:14pm to 2:44pm constantly received no answer or voicemail (calling both Stefano and the driver). i needed my car so i had to walk 20 minutes in the 85 degrees temperature to get to the dealership. Now is this how you treat your customers at Rick Case or is how the so called exceptional or great valued customer service that is the slogan whenever you call this dealership. I was so disgusted, frustrated, irritated, upset and lost for words i went straight to the cashier for my keys. On my way out my sales person saw the frustration on my face as i explained to him i did not want to discuss my experience but he referred me to the general manager. i introduced myself to him in a professional manner which he walked me over to the service managers empty office. i was told to wait by the general manager for the service manager to arrive. I was appalled by his behavior but yet i sat and waited, 5 minute goes by and all i can hear is talking and laughter outside the doors. i politely took my keys walked straight to my car and drove out the parking lot. Now is this the kind of business that Rick Case portraits to its customers after a purchase is made? The sales person and i were discussing the purchase of an EQUUS but i told him i am waiting for the Genesis G70. i will NEVER set foot in this establishment again to purchase not even a can of soda!!!!!
