Thompsons Buick, GMC in Placerville, CA is one of those Car Dealers that everyone would love to find the first time they are looking to purchase a vehicle. No pressure sales, good deals, great customer service and no hassle follow up in the service department after the sale. Thompsons is a pleasure to do business with when you are going through the process of purchasing a new or used vehicle. This is a small town car dealer that could teach big city dealers something about honesty, Integrity and customer service.

Great Folks at Thompson's. You feel welcomed and not just a number. We needed to have the expensive 100,000-mile service and Joe walked me through every step of the process showing me the value having this service done so we can get another 100,000 miles with fewer problems. This should be the template for other dealers. Great Job everyone at Thompsons GMC. You did such a great job that we bought a new 2016 GMC 1500 Sierra truck, so now all of our vehicles will be serviced at Thompsons.

When I ask questions and details of what services will be provided to my vehicles, I always receive a prompt and accurate response. I made an inquiry on a 2002 BMW X5. 4.6 on 3/15/16 they responded sent pictures and told me the price $7795.00 , I made an offer of $6500.00 because it didn't have the correct rims and tires. They made a counter offer of $6800.00 +$400 .00 to ship it to me in Arizona . I accepted that offer at 10:00 am on 3/16/16 and just waiting for the total and final details

This was the best car buying experience we have ever had everyone was very helpful and friendly.We were amazed at how quick it was. We couldn't be happier. And we will tell family and friends to definitely go to Thompsons for their next car.We will go back when we need another car.

Two Issues, one with service one with sales. Service went well except I asked the service writer to check on a part for my dash that is cracked. I asked him to see what it would cost to replace the part. I asked twice and never got an answer even after talking to him on the phone. Sales: I have been looking for a Cadillac Esclade ESV in a 2010 or 2011 model. They took my name and said that they would call me. No call at all. You would think that sales would do whatever they could to reach out to me. NOTHING! Must be nice to have so many sales that you don't need another one from a loyal customer.

For the first time ever, buying a car was a good experience. Our sales agent, Dave Massey, was so patient with us even though we left and came back 3 times before finally buying a car. The financial end went quickly and easily and without the high pressure tactics you expect from a dealership. I would definitely recommend this dealership and Dave Massey to anyone looking for a new or used car. I wish we hadn't wasted our time going from dealership to dealership and had just stayed at Thompson's the first time we went in.

We were looking to trade our 2013 F250 Lariat for a more functional vehicle for our family and went in to look at the Buick Enclave advertised with rebates. We had been to several dealerships for at least 3 or 4 weekends prior to our final purchase because we really wanted to be sure of our car choice. It was so nice NOT to have someone attack you as you drove into the parking lot and use every sales point to convince us that their car was the right one for us even though it didn't have all of the amenities we were looking for. This allowed us to check out 3 vehicles on your lot on our own and when we were ready to ask questions the staff was very pleasant and very helpful. We felt we got a fair trade on our F250 and left complete satisfied with our transaction. The best way to describe Thompson's and their staff is "classy" in comparison to the other dealerships we had visited and we visited plenty. Thank you to Ed Cerepak, Paul the manager and even the finance gentleman that I can't seem to remember his name. We love our new Buick Enclave! Maria & Van
